Socks and Shades

In honor of the letter "S", we wore silly socks and shades. We read the book, A Pair of Socks, by Stuart J. Murphy. Then we made patterns on paper socks and sorted them to create a sock sort class book.

This week, in honor of the letter "S", we wore silly socks and shades. We created patterns on paper socks, sorted socks, and made a sock class book.

Silly Mrs. Larremore's Class

This week, we learned about action words (verbs). We acted out words to help us remember the difference between words that name things and words that show action. We read the book Silly Sally and made a tree map to show the naming words (nouns)and action words (verbs) we found in the story. Then we used alliteration by thinking of adjectives that describe us that start with the same letter as our first name. We made the class book "Silly Mrs.Larremore's Class."
