Diary of an Isopod
This week, we got isopods (roly-poly bugs) in our classroom. We have spent the week observing them and talking about what they need to live.
We read Dairy of a Worm and learned some facts about worms. We compared worms and poly poly bugs to each other. We learned worms eat paper and garbage and tunnel through the ground. We learned roly-poly bugs have legs, live in dirt, and eat carrots. Next week, we are going to make a class book patterned after Diary of a Worm. We are going to write a diary for our isopods.
